Eric K. Silver, MD, FACOG, OBGYN Ohio

What is your favorite procedure and why?

“Laparoscopic Surgery - because of the tremendous reduction in post-op recovery.”

Dr. Silver attended medical school in his hometown of London, England. He came to the United States in 1973 and completed his OB/GYN residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis before practicing here. He specializes in all aspects of women's health care, including high-risk pregnancy, infertility, and all aspects of gynecologic surgery. He is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, and a member of the Cincinnati OBGYN Society. He strives to bring women and their families a supportive and friendly atmosphere for their deliveries.

During his leisure time he enjoys golf and traveling as well as spending time with his wife, children, and new grandchild.

To all of my patients,

I am announcing plans to retire from the practice of Ob-Gyn Associates, Inc. as of July 1, 2010.

As you might suspect, I do so with mixed feelings. Although I look forward with excitement to a new chapter of my life, without doubt I will miss many of you who have meant so much to me over these 30 years in the Cincinnati area.

I will be moving to Greensboro, Georgia to be closer to family. There I will be opening a small office for the practice of gynecology only, in association with St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta.

I have been honored to have you in my care and I am truly grateful for the people that I have had the privilege to get to know through my work. It has been a true pleasure to know so many of you and your families over the years and such a joy to bring babies into this world. I will always treasure those memories.

It has also been amazing to work with such a fantastic group of physicians during these years and although there have been changes in the makeup of the group, there is no doubt we have strived, I believe successfully, to maintain the highest quality of compassionate care. To be able to achieve this standard we have been fortunate to have a staff of employees who are incredibly supportive of our efforts and are truly appreciated.

Over the next six months I look forward to seeing many of you and will be happy to make the appropriate recommendations for future care. I would like to hear from any of you by email if I do not get the opportunity to see you before I leave. You can leave me a message at: ericsilvermd@gmail.com
